St. Stephen Cemetery

Cemetery Rules & Regulations

 

No trespassing. Only the lot owner and their relatives or friends shall be permitted on this cemetery property. All others found on this property will be considered trespassing.

 

PROHIBITED

The following is a non-exhaustive list of activities/items that are not allowed:

 

1. Dog walking, whether leashed or unleashed
2. Planting of shrubs, bushes, or perennial plants
3. Artificial flowers (permitted November 1 – February 28/29 only)
4. Ornaments or personal items (for example: wind chimes, balloons, stuffed animals, pinwheels, trinkets or anything that can be damaged or could cause injury to staff or visitors)
5. Garden borders, bark mulch, wire fencing, statues, glass vases, shepherd hooks, planters, pots etc.

 

Cemetery cleanup will occur annually on March 1st. The management team and staff reserve the right to remove anything they deem inappropriate and will dispose of any and all items in violation.

 

Cemetery Services, Inc. and St. Stephen Parish/Cemetery will not be responsible

for damage or loss of anything placed on a lot.
